THE chairman of Goodman Group David Clarke has retired because of health reasons.
Clarke had been on a leave of absence since November last whilst he was undergoing medical treatment.
Goodman said it is very please that Clarke has recovered well and is now in good health.
“David has decided to focus on a smaller number of board positions, particularly those in the not for profit sector,” the company said.
Clarke has been Chairman since October 2000.
Ian Ferrier will continue as acting chairman.
