HBO+EMTB has appointed Michael Nash as the new director of architecture design at the firm's Sydney office.
Managing director Kevin Fitzgerald said Nash brings a particularly strong portfolio in transport infrastructure, which will be a major focus of his role in the Sydney office.
Nash is a former CEO of Designinc and more recently has held senior management positions with A.I.M. Partnership and Baldasso Cortese.
He was in charge of several key projects including;
· Four underground Airport link stations, Sydney
· Liverpool Station interchange
· Bondi Beach Station (Design)
· Blacktown Station and interchange
· Rockdale, Oakflats and Penrith Stations and interchanges
· Pudong and Puxi Cable Car Stations, Shanghai
He is also a keen and accomplished sailor and has designed a range of small sailing boats know as Aero which have won national titles across six different development classes.
