CITY Pacific has appointed independent non-executive director, Graeme Downie as the new chairman following the resignation of Ian Donaldson.
Downie is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants who maintains an involvement with professional practice as a specialist consultant in his field of expertise. His professional background includes 25 years in practice, 12 of which as a partner/consultant to the former Coopers and Lybrand.
Downie was Chairman of the Brisbane Lions Football Club Ltd for six years and served over 15 years on the board of the Club. He is the current chairman of the Gold Coast City Council funded Surfers Paradise Alliance Ltd and was appointed by the State Government as a Trustee of the Jupiters Casino Community Benefits Fund.
