Nakheel to world's tallest building

DUBAI developer Nakheel, headed by former Investa Property Group chief Chris O'Donnell has unveiled plans to a 1km high tower.

The new development will be located at the centre of Dubai, at the intersection of Sheikh Zayed Road and the Arabian Canal.

The Nakheel Harbour ‘&’ Tower will cover an area over 270ha and will eventually be home to more than 55,000 people as well as a 45,000 workforce.

The multibillion dollar development will have four towers and will also include 250,000 sqm of hotels and hospitality space and 100,000 sqm of retail.
