REA Group has appointed Greg Ellis, the marketing director of Asia Online Services for Microsoft, as the company's new chief executive.
He will take on the new role on September 08.
REA Group chairman Richard Freudenstein said Ellis has the online and international experience necessary to grow the business from where it is today to an even larger and more successful future.
Ellis will succeed Simon Baker who left the company earlier this month. Acting CEO Georg Chmiel will return to the role of CFO, which he has held for three and a half years.
