LIVING and Leisure Australia has opened its doors to Craig Carracher, the chief executive and managing partner of Arctic Capital.
Carracher has been appointed as a non-executive director.
Arctic Capital is the investment advisor to Arctic Asia Opportunities Fund, LP, which indirectly holds approximately 49.3% of LLA and underwrote the rights offer component of the recent successful recapitalisation of LLA.
Meanwhile, Martin Green, a managing director of Arctic Capital, has been appointed as Carracher’s alternate director.
In departures, Peter O’Brien has resigned as a director. He joined the company following the takeover of Oceanis.
LLA has also appointed Peter King, the acting chief financial officer as the company secretary. He replaces David Anderson who has resigned from that position.
The board will now conduct a 90 day operational review of the business following the successful recapitalisation of LLA and has appointed an executive committee chaired by Carracher to lead the operational review.
