YOU heard it right, Sydneysiders are being given the rare chance to purchase house and land packages in the inner suburbs.
Renowned architectural firm Alex Popov & Associates has designed 24 Paddington-style terraces as part of a four-phase vision to transform Victoria Park at Zetland.
Buyers will first be required to select their plots of land then enter into a contract to have their large three-storey terrace built. This form of purchase means buyers save around $100,000 compared to that of a completed house. The 190 sqm to 200 sqm packages will sell for between $1.07 million and $1.4 million.
Alex Popov & Associates’ project architect Brian Bass said the Garland Terraces take the finest features of a grand Paddington terrace and integrate principles of ecologically-sustainable design as a commitment to responsible living for the future.
Completion of terraces should coincide with the opening of two more stages of The Garland Quarter, a 24-hectare residential estate at the Sydney CBD-end.
Bordered by Wolseley Grove,
Phillip Bartlett, the visionary
