LEND Lease has appointed Stephen Dobbs to the board of directors.
Dobbs currently serves as a non executive director of Cummins Inc a Fortune 500 corporation that designs, manufactures and distributes engines, filtration and power generation products. He was senior group president, industrial & infrastructure at Fluor Corporation until his retirement in June 2014.
Lend Lease chairman David Crawford said Dobbs is an industry expert in public private partnerships and private finance initiatives and has served as an advisor on these issues to a number of government ministries.
He was a Governor of industry forums related to engineering and construction at the World Economic Forum from 2008 to 2014 and served as Vice-Chair of the Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Infrastructure in 2013 and 2014.
Dobbs holds a Doctorate in Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered professional engineer.
“The appointment of Stephen to the Board continues the Board’s approach towards greater diversity in experience and background. Stephen is an outstanding addition to the Board and is a recognised industry expert both in the United States and globally. His deep engineering and construction experience will greatly benefit Lend Lease,” Crawford said.
