Firstfolio partners with MyLender

LISTED financial services group Firstfolio has entered into a long-term distribution partnership with Queensland mortgage brokers MyLender.

The partnership will have an initial period of three years and will give MyLender direct access to Firstfolio’s aggregation platform and secure wholesale funding operations.

As part of the transaction, MyLender’s founder Peter Mellor and Steve Essenstam will become Firstfolio area directors for the greater Brisbane area.

The MyLender deal boosts Firstfolio’s network across Australia to more than 800 mortgage intermediaries. Last month, the group signed a similar partnership with Tasmanian mortgage manager Apple Loans.
