WESTERN Australian based construction company Wylie & Skene Pty Ltd has been awarded five new contracts totalling approximately $60 million.
Wylie & Skene Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of listed construction company VDM Group, has been awarded the construction of a 600 man accommodation village facility at the Sino Iron Ore Project,
Rio Tinto has also awarded the company three projects at Brockman for an administration building, workhouse and central facilities.
Finally, the Shire of
Wylie & Skene’s general manager Malcolm Wylie said being awarded these five new projects reflects Wylie & Skene’s long-term commitment to the Pilbara region.
VDM Group’s chief executive John Farrell said the five new contracts will underpin Wylie & Skene’s 2009 revenues.
