JLL signs deal with BP

JONES Lang LaSalle has become the global manager for BP after it signed a three year transaction management contract with BP.

JLL already provides BP with transaction management services in the United States.

The new contract means JLL will provide transaction management services to BP’s European, Middle East, African and Asian operations.

In Asia this contract extends to almost 4.6 million sq ft covering more than 200 properties in 17 countries with a mix of office, industrial properties and land.

BP’s regional real estate manager Ricky Yang commented said this new agreement will enable BP to operate with far greater consistency, introducing common approaches, global tools and simplified processes across all projects.

JLL Singapore’s national director and head of transaction management James McLean said the award of the contract, tendered in competition with other service providers, continues JLL’s successful growth of its transaction management business in Asia.

Last year, JLL renewed a number of significant contracts including Microsoft.
