CHALLENGER Diversified Property Group has appointed Trevor Hardie to the role of CDI Fund Manager.
Hardie’s appointment follows the resignation of Carmel Hourigan to pursue other opportunities outside the Challenger Group.
Hardie was most recent role as CDI’s portfolio manager and was integrally involved in CDI’s successful listing on the ASX in October 2006. Since that time he has overseen the strong performance generated by CDI’s property portfolio, and has successfully progressed a number of CDI’s value-add opportunities.
“This is a very positive outcome for CDI investors, who over the last 18 months have witnessed the benefits of Trevor’s hands on approach to management of the portfolio, and his contribution to maximising returns for CDI investors,” Challenger’s head of real estate funds Bevan Towning said. “Trevor’s elevation to the role of Fund Manager provides management continuity and ensures that the focus on execution of CDI’s core plus portfolio strategy is maintained.”
