DTZ expands Sydney team

DTZ has made a senior appointment to its North Sydney office.

Local commercial property expert Peter Ryan has joined the agency as the new director.

Ryan previously held senior positions with CBRE and Colliers International and most recently as director of sales and commercial leasing at Jones Lang LaSalle Parramatta.

DTZ’s Sydney managing director Peter Spiller said the new role would focus on expanding and diversifying the company’s specialist services from the North Sydney office.

“DTZ acquired the specialist commercial and industrial business Harlow Property Consultants in North Sydney in July last year to strengthen the company’s growth in the Australian market.

“Since this time we have successfully merged the two companies and we are now in a position to grow our leadership team and expand and diversify the office’s current client service offering,” he added.

Ryan is also well known for his involvement in professional sports, which included playing for Manly in National Rugby League, first-grade rugby union and first-grade cricket.
