THE number of Domestic Building cases before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal has fallen, according to the Building Commission.
According to the Building Commission, there were 779 matters initiated with the Domestic building list at VCAT during 2007, a 7% decrease from 2006.
During the year, Domestic Building List initiates approximately 70 cases each month, consistently representing approximately 1% of domestic building permits.
So far, 51 cases have been initiated in January this year.
