COLLIERS International will relaunch a new Brisbane residential division to grab a larger slice of the $500 million-plus CBD apartment market.
The new Colliers International Apartment Resales, Prestige and General Agency will be headed by Nigel Summerville, poached from Ray White CBD Residential where he was sales manager.
Summerville’s first goal is to recruit agents.
He said his team would focus on growth of the business in
“Our city skyline’s success stories are obvious so we will have no trouble selling this stock again and again.
“There was not enough competition in the CBD which is all about to change. It’s a $500 million-plus market which will only get bigger,” he added.
Colliers International managing director residential Grant Dearlove said with the growth of inner city living, it is an opportune time for the company to open a General Agency division that will feed off the growing Project Marketing division.
“Neither Colliers nor PRDnationwide have had an Inner City General Agency division so this is a first and one which no doubt will grow and prosper under Nigel’s leadership,” he concluded.
