Colliers GC appoints new director

COLLIERS International has appointed Warren Galea to lead its Gold Coast consultancy and valuations division.

Galea boasts more than 15 years valuation experience throughout eastern Australia, including his recent role as manager of Colliers International Brisbane consultancy and valuations office.

Colliers International Gold Coast office director Tony Boyd said Warren will be a great asset to the team, due to his extensive experience across a range of markets.

“Warren has valued property in all industry sectors – from major investment, retail and industrial assets to commercial and residential development sites and retirement villages,” Boyd said. “His experience as a Colliers director and familiarity with company’s results driven ethos will also be a benefit in the fast-paced and evolving Gold Coast market.”

Galea has assumed his new role following former director, James Bellew’s, return to the Colliers International South Sydney office.

Galea said he has had a busy start to the new role, as the Gold Coast property market continues to go from strength to strength.

“Prime development sites will continue to be highly sought by developers as the region builds out and the industrial market, in particular, will continue to surge due to falling vacancy rates and strong demand for quality investment stock,” Galea concluded.
