ING Global Property Securities Fund has won Standard & Poor’s 2007 Fund Manager of the Year Awards in the listed property category.
Established in October 2005, the fund offers Australian investors an opportunity to invest in a global property securities strategy and has $291 million of fund assets under management.
“What differentiates our strategy is our ability to effectively integrate ING Real Estate’s direct and listed property market intelligence to identify market inefficiencies and drive outperformance,” ING Clarion Real Estate Securities, the manager of the fund, chief executive Ritson Ferguson said.
The fund has a consistent track record delivering 28.4% since inception to July 2007 compared with the UBS Global Investor (ex Australia) Index of 22.7%.
The fund is the only five star rated fund by S&P and only one of two funds rated “Highly Recommended” by Lonsec.
