Woolies director goes to Stockland
THE former director of property at Woolworths, Barry Neil, has been nominated to join Stockland’s non-executive director board.
Stockland’s chairman Graham Bradley Neil is a highly respected member of the Australian property industry and recently retired from his position as director of property at Woolworths, where he led all aspects of the Woolworths property portfolio.
From 1983 to 2004, Neil held several senior executive roles at Mirvac, including chief executive of its investment division and was also an executive director of Mirvac from 1987 to 2004.
Bradley said Neil will bring extensive experience and expertise across all aspects of the property market to complement the existing skills and capabilities of the Stockland board.
“I am pleased to be considered for election to the Stockland Board of Directors, and look forward to joining the group as the business enters its next phase of strategic growth,” Neil said.
