SAVILLS and Investment Brisbane have entered into an agreement.
Through the agreement, Savills will join 13 Brisbane companies working with Invest Brisbane to shape Brisbane’s strategic investment initiatives and to share a range of co-operative marketing initiatives, market analysis, consultation and research, as well as establishing key connections and networking opportunities.
Invest Brisbane is the official investment attraction agency for the city of Brisbane and forms part of Brisbane Marketing.
Brisbane Marketing’s chief executive David Regan said under the partnership, Brisbane’s economy and the partners themselves benefit as a result.
“The program has generated over $563 million of new investment and the creation of 1,628 new jobs for Brisbane in 2006, while our partners take advantage of our global investment reach.
“The business relationship between Savills and Invest Brisbane was developed under the Corporate Partnership Program and is an excellent example of a city-wide investment organisation working co-operatively with a local organisation for mutual benefits,” he added.
Savills’ Queensland managing director Paul McLean said the alliance brings together Invest Brisbane’s city-wide investment knowledge and Savills’ local knowledge of industrial, commercial and retail property, providing an invaluable growth tool for new investors into Brisbane.
