AMP Capital Investors is further bolstering its real estate securities team in Australia with the appointment of two new analysts.
The appointments bring the total number of investment professionals focused solely on real estate securities to 22, globally.
James Maydew and Simon Lui will join Tom Walker and will report to the head of Australian real estate securities Mark Ferguson.
Maydew has transferred from AMP Capital Shopping Centres, where he was a property analyst for one year. He previously spent three years in the
Lui joins AMP Capital from a management consulting background and brings broader management experience to the Australian team. Both Maydew and Lui will be responsible for researching real estate securities listed on the Australian stock market.
The Asian team will expand to three with the transfer of investment analyst Jessica Pham from the Australian real estate securities team. Pham will be responsible for researching real estate securities listed on Asian stock markets.
She will report to portfolio manager Charles Wong. The Asian real estate securities team will be on the ground and based in
Australian Property Journal
