DB RREEF joins Greenhouse Initiative

DB RREEF has joined 35 corporates in the 3CBDs Greenhouse Initiative, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and tackle climate change.

DB RREEF’s chief executive Victor Hoog Antink said becoming a 3CBDs signatory was in line with the group’s broader, long-term commitment to sustainability best practice.

“We are committed to reducing the climate change impact of our property portfolio and joining the 3CBDs Greenhouse initiative is another step in our sustainability programme and a further enhancement of the green credentials of our head office at 343 George Street, Sydney,” Hoog Antink said.

The 3CBDs Greenhouse Initiative aims to assist commercial office tenants in New South Wales’ three major business hubs to reduce their overall greenhouse gas emissions and provide environmental leadership to the business community and their staff.

3CBDs participants are required to undertake an accredited Australian Building Greenhouse Rating and implement a range of innovative efficiency measures to achieve a minimum ABGR tenancy rating of 4 stars or higher.
