MFS Limited has bought another financial planning firm, Westplan Financial Services in Hawera in New Zealand's North Island.
The transaction follows MFS’ acquisitions earlier this year of the Northplan Group, Swain Investment Services and Colin Strang Financial Planning.
These three companies are in the process of being re-branded as Vestar Investment Specialists.
The acquisition of Westplan brings the total funds under management and under advice within MFS’ NZ financial advisory businesses to in excess of $NZ1Billion.
