NDY bolsters Melbourne team

NORMAN Disney & Young has made a number of new senior appointments within its Melbourne team.

Director-in-charge of the NDY Melbourne office, Stuart Fowler, was elected to the company’s board, the governing body of NDY responsible for the global strategy and direction of the firm.

Meanwhile, George Balales, who was a part of the Melbourne executive team has been promoted to director.

Balales has over 15 years experience in engineering, retail, residential, commercial and telecommunications projects.

Also in Melbourne, Will Chapman and Alan Edler have been promoted to the roles of associate directors.

Chapman was previously a senior associate and is head of Norman Disney & Young’s NDY Interiors specialist discipline in Victoria and dealt with Ernst & Young, Australian Customs and Australia Post.

In addition, John Boatto and Armando Bianco have been promoted to senior associates, while Lee Cleghorn, a member of the NDY Fire Protection group, has been promoted to associate.

Norman Disney & Young’s Melbourne office have also provided engineering services for many of Victoria’s recent landmark projects including the Eureka Tower, the Herald & Weekly Times redevelopment and QV mixed-use and residential development amongst others.
