DELFIN Lend Lease has won the Urban Development Institute of Australia's most prestigious national award for its Varsity Lakes community on the Gold Coast.
The latest award win adds to the growing list of accolades won by Delfin Lend Lease.
The develop has previously won eight national UDIA accolades over the past nine years, including the Best Masterplanned Community award for Forest Lake (Queensland) in 1999, North Lakes (Queensland) in 2002, Golden Grove (South Australia) in 2003, Mawson Lakes (South Australia) in 2004 and Caroline Springs (Victoria) in 2006.
Delfin’s other UDIA national awards include the 2001 Environmental Excellence Award for Twin Waters and the 2001 President’s Award for the Newington and Sydney Olympic Village.
Delfin Lend Lease’s chief operating officer David Keir said winning nine national awards in nine years was an outstanding effort and a testament to company’s track record of creating real sustainable communities where people want to live, work and enjoy life.
