A local consortium has snapped up the 300-sqm retail component of the $94 million Harbour Tower in Tweed Heads? CBD for $1.25 million.
The commercial space, located on the resort’s ground floor fronting Wharf Street, has a variety of uses including retail, commercial and specialist services.
According to Colliers International’s Graham Mailander, the sale continues the renaissance of the Tweed CBD precinct which has been transformed by major new projects over the last couple of years.
Harbour Tower, a development undertaken in a joint venture by Twin Towns Services Club and Bauderstone Hornibrook’s Capital Solutions division, is the primary driver of the re-generation of the Tweed CBD.
Only 28 apartments remain for sale in Harbour Tower, which settled last year and has enjoyed high occupancies as the Tweed has grown into one of Australia’s leading holiday and resort destinations.
