Actus Lend Lease and the Department of the Navy have reached financial close on Phase Two of the Marine Corps housing project.
The $US159 ($A200 million) Atlantic Marine Corps Communities is located at Cherry Point and Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
The project is part of the United States Military Housing Privatization Initiative, which was established to improve the quality of housing for US service members and their families.
The five-year project involves construction of new homes and refurbishment of existing dwellings, and will result in the private sector management of approximately 1,190 additional homes across the two Marine installations.
Actus Lend Lease will oversee all aspects of the 50-year project including development, masterplanning, construction and asset management.
