Two development sites in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs have fetched $2.6 million.
The first property saw a major childcare operator pay $1.05 million for a 3000 sqm development site in Noble Park.
Jones Lang LaSalle’s sales and investment agent Michael Spektor said the operator been expanding its focus to include childcare and was a major national player in the industry.
Meanwhile, the second property is located at 2 Springvale Rd.
The development site has been sold for $1.55 million.
The purchaser is well known business family Zagame, who intends to build a Shiner Car Wash on the site to take advantage of the high profile location.
Spektor said the property was zoned B1 that allowed for a wide range of development options on the site STCA.
