Bovis Lend Lease has won a National Master Builders Association Award for their work on Parramatta Rail Station.
Parramatta Station was named best project in the category of Public Buildings above $50 million at Parliament House in Canberra.
The accolade comes a week after Bovis Lend Lease won in the same category at the New South Wales 2006 Excellence in Construction Awards.
The contract involved the installation of two new large rail bridges, tunnels, platforms, a major roof structure, refurbishment of heritage buildings and the erection of a stunning facade.
The $70 million project improved facilities for rail service users, including lengthened and resurfaced platforms, new lifts and elevators, and enhanced weather protection.
