Developer Austcorp Group’s Vision tower the inner apartment sales surge in Brisbane with almost $130 million worth of sales in 11 months.
Vision has so far signed 161 unconditional sales, representing 40% of the tower’s 401 units.
The $900 million tower is set to become Brisbane’s tallest residential building and will be developed on a 5500 sqm city block site spanning Margaret and Mary Streets in the CBD’s garden precinct.
Austcorp’s Queensland general manager Kerry Spencer said buyers are taking advantage of the long settlement period up to 2010 to get into early ownership of what will be Brisbane’s best residential address.
“Vision provides the cosmopolitan convenience normally found in suburbs like Brisbane’s New Farm or Sydney’s Paddington, but located in a single building in the CBD and is now proving its popularity,” he added.
Prices start from $360,000 for one-bedroom apartments. Vision will contain 53 floors of residential apartments, 12 levels of commercial office at the base of the tower, a three-level podium accommodating retail, restaurant and associated activities, a major public plaza at ground-level and up to seven levels of underground parking.
Commercial and retail segments will be kept separate from the residential features by maintaining separate lifts to each component.
