Diversified property group Devine has appointed Terry Conway to the position of manager property development in Brisbane.
Devine’s managing director David Devine said Conway’s appointment reinforced the significant growth of the company’s property developments in the Brisbane CBD area.
Major residential apartment projects completed by Devine in the past 12 months or under construction include the 416-unit Charlotte Towers (end value of $170 million when fully developed by June 2007), the 401-unit Festival Towers (completed July 2006; end value $171 million) and the 214- unit Casino Towers (end value $91 million).
Conway joins Devine after 25 years at Brisbane City Council, where he managed the development assessment process for all development applications in the Brisbane CBD and inner city Brisbane suburbs of Fortitude Valley, New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, Spring Hill and Petrie Terrace.
He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science specialising in the Built Environment and a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning.
