Affiliated Computer Services and Jones Lang LaSalle have signed a new global partnership.
ACS is a premier provider of diversified business process outsourcing and information technology outsourcing solutions to commercial and government clients worldwide.
Based in Dallas, ACS is a Fortune 500 company of more than 55,000 people supporting client operations in nearly 100 countries.
Under the agreement, JLL will provide tenant representation and lease administration services for ACS’ growing real estate portfolio, which currently stands at 9.5 million sq ft throughout the world.
JLL’s managing director Bruce Rutherford ACS’ business is becoming increasingly more complex as their growth takes them into new domestic and international markets and their new business initiatives require different types of real estate support.
“This growth and increasing complexity will challenge us to constantly improve service and efficiency levels for ACS. We are proud to have won a place on the ACS team.” he added.
“We had very much enjoyed and benefited from our relationship with our previous partners, but given ACS’ expanding and diverse real estate portfolio we felt that it was time to make a change. We were impressed with what we saw in Jones Lang LaSalle and are confident that they were the partner to help us take our real estate practices to the next level and beyond.” ACS’s senior vice president of workplace resources David Jarrett said.
ACS’ director of corporate real estate Derek Nash said given ACS’ increased activity in pursuing new offshore locations, the company felt it was essential for it to partner with a firm that has a strong international presence.
“And we were impressed with Jones Lang LaSalle’s global platform and depth of resources,” he concluded.
