ING Real Estate has appointed Phillip Redmond, former UBS Investment Bank’s managing director of head of real estate Australasia, to the board as non executive director.
ING Real Estate Management is the responsible entity for the ING Office Fund, ING Industrial Fund, ING Real Estate, Community Living Fund, ING Real Estate Healthcare Fund and the ING Real Estate Entertainment Fund.
Redmond has over 20 years experience in the real estate industry in Australia, which includes 12 years experience at UBS Investment Bank.
During his time at UBS, Redmond played a leading role in the development of the listed property trust sector in Australia, which included the IPO’s of numerous property trusts, raising over $7 billion in equity and advising on over $10 billion M& A transactions.
