Babcock & Brown Residential Land Partners has appointed Mark Salmon, former director of Stockland’s Caloundra Downs and Kawana Waters masterplanned urban communities as national head of development.
Salmon will be responsible for the management of all of BLP’s development joint ventures.
“We are delighted with Mark’s appointment. He has in excess of 25 years experience in the property development sector through senior development roles within Lensworth and Stockland,” BLP’s managing director Michael Balkin.
“Mark’s experience as well as his significant contribution to the industry will be a great asset to BLP,” he added.
Salmon starts with BLP in early September and will be based in Brisbane.
Meanwhile, BLP said it has made an initial payment of $35 million for a controlling stake in Links Living’s partnership interest in two master planned residential developments in Melbourne.
