Devine has appointed Scott McIntosh as Queensland manager of housing and land.
McIntosh was former a senior executive at Medallist and Mirvac with experience in master-planned developments, large-scale land sub-divisions, residential golf course estates, design-and-construct projects and high-rise developments.
At Mirvac, McIntosh oversaw the design, construction and sale of major master-planned and integrated residential developments such as ‘Mossvale on Manly’ at Wakerley, ‘Park Hill Village’ at Cannon Hill, ‘Greenwich Apartments and Townhomes’ at New Farm, ‘Portside Townhomes’ at Bulimba, ‘Liberty on Tedder Apartments’ at Main Beach, ‘Mariners Reach Apartments’ at Newstead and the ‘Sebel Hotel’ in Brisbane.
As the Queensland state manager of Medallist Developments, McIntosh identified and sourced new business opportunities, negotiated the acquisition of sites, and provided leadership and strategic direction to the development team.
In his new role, McIntosh will have operational responsibility for nine Devine housing estates in Queensland, and be involved in financial management, sales and marketing, and new business strategy and implementation.
Devine’s national manager of housing and land Paul Nash said McIntosh’s appointment reflects the company’s continuing expansion.
“This year alone, Devine has secured sites in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia that will generate house-and-land projects worth more than $1-Billion.
"Scott’s commercial experience and development skills will complement those of the existing Devine management and staff, leading the continued successful delivery of Devine’s sought-after residential estates and new home offerings, coupled with new Queensland business opportunities,” Nash said.
