Arthur Apted has resigned as managing director of Becton Investment Management after holding the position only 18 months ago.
Apted joined the BIML in January 2005, after holding the position of chief executive of Industry Superannuation Property Trust. ISPT is one of Australia’s largest unlisted property funds management businesses with over $3billion under management.
Apted said he is departing the business to start his own venture.
Apted will be replaced by Becton’s chief investment officer Mathew Chun.
Chun is also the head of funds management at BIML, he was previously employed with CBUS Industry Superfund.
