Not long ago, NAI Global was an unknown commodity in the real estate world – not any more, according to Commercial Property News, Australian Property Journal’s U.S property news affiliate.
In the latest CPN rankings of networked real estate brokerages, NAI Global ranks second behind Colliers International. NAI had earnings of $850 million compared to Colliers $1.4 billion. Colliers has 241 affiliates compared to NAI Global’s 170.
The latest rankings of brokerage firms released late last month show that in the money stakes CB Richard Ellis tops the list with brokerage revenue of $2.9 billion; followed by Cushman Wakefield with $1.2 billion (Laing + Simmons worldwide affiliate); with leading Australia agent Jones Lang LaSalle coming in third with $588 million; fourth was Newmark Knight Frank with $561 million.
According to NAI Global’s Melbourne managing director, Ross Mercurillo, NAI will soon further its presence in Australia with a major Sydney office.
Mercurillo said NAI had become a global network real estate agency success story in recent years growing to 170 affiliates.
