Melbourne-based funds management group, SAITeysMcMahon is adding to its growing team with two senior appointments.
The new appointments are Andrew Slatter and Kim Downs.
Slatter has been appointed Head of Funds Management – Agribusiness. In this role, Slatter is responsible for deal origination, structuring, execution and fund management. His focus is to deliver consistent returns to investors through the management and development of premium rural investment projects. Andrew has 16 years corporate and agribusiness experience across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining SAITeysMcMahon, Andrew was an Associate Director at ANZ Institutional Bank, and has worked for Elders in Japan and Australia.
Kim Downs has been appointed Head of Marketing at SAITM. Downs will be responsible for marketing strategy development and implementation, overseeing a team responsible for brand and reputation management, research, e-commerce, CRM, PR and corporate communications. Prior to relocating to Australia, Kim was based in Hong Kong with regional and global marketing responsibilities. She has worked for various financial institutions including Mees Pierson Securities, Dresdner Asset Management, Bank of Bermuda, HSBC and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
