One of New Zealand’s most exclusive properties Moose Lodge is on the market.
Marketing agents Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ Mike Batchelor and Dean Humphries are conducting sale via an Expressions of Interest campaign, on behalf of its long term owners.
The property is located on a stunning lakeside estate in New Zealand’s thermal and fly fishing capital, Rotorua.
The luxurious Lodge is like no other in the region. It features a 38.3ha freehold site fronting Lake Rotoiti, 19 luxury guestrooms, restaurant, library / billiards room, conference area, thermal baths and recreational facilities including a private championship rated double nine-hole golf course.
Batchelor said the hotel is frequented by some of the world’s most treasured guests, Moose Lodge is a unique and elegant property.
The visitor book reveals past guests have included members of the British Monarchy such as the Queen and Prince Charles, Prime Minister’s including Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew, fashion legend Pierre Cardin and other well-known celebrities from all corners of the world.
“Moose Lodge offers investors a rare opportunity to purchase a five star lake-front asset which would be ideal as a lodge, retreat or opulent residence.
“With a strong tourism market, New Zealand’s hotel sector is attracting investor interest for its attractive yields and opportunity for income growth.” he added.
Humphries said given the rarity of quality lodges over 10 rooms being offered for sale in New Zealand at present, he expects to receive strong interest from local, regional and international investors for Moose Lodge.
“New Zealand has experienced unprecedented exposure in recent years, driven by the likes of the Americas Cup, Lord of the Rings film trilogy and the country’s reputation as the extreme sports capital of the world,” he concluded.
