Colliers International and PRDnationwide have merged to form the largest commercial and residential property services provider in Australasia.
Colliers International’s Australia chairman Tony Brasier and PRDnationwide’s founding director Gordon Douglas said the merger was the perfect fit.
They said that with annual revenue in excess of $200 million throughout Australia and New Zealand and a strong Asia Pacific and international network the expanded company would bring substantial benefits to existing and future clients.
Both Brasier and Douglas said the merger also created a springboard for significant growth throughout the region and into emerging markets.
The financial details of the merger are subject to a confidentiality agreement between the parties.
Brasier said that the initial brand integration would see commercial operations of both companies combine to operate under the Colliers International brand immediately, while residential project marketing from both sides will be transitioned to come together under a joint brand over time.
All other PRDnationwide and Colliers International franchises will remain the same.
The combined company now has in excess of over 1,500 personnel and more than 190 offices in Australia.
