Perth property group Finbar International Lhas won a tender to purchase several properties for $3.4 million.
Lot 207 Lake Street comprises 914 sqm of vacant land, is a mixed use site and it is proposed the company will construct 13 residential apartments and two commercial tenancies.
Lot 301 Lake Street comprises 1,129 sqm of vacant land, is also a mixed use site and it is proposed the company will construct 18 residential apartments and three commercial tenancies.
Both parcels of land are located within the East Perth Redevelopment Authority’s precinct of `Plateia Hellas’, an area of tree lined streets, architectural paving, street lighting, street furniture, and public open spaces.
"These are two very attractive sites adjoining a significant cultural landmark. Our project will be a very simple but modern low rise project using traditional, inexpensive construction methods that will not take long to build once the approvals are obtained," managing director John Chan said.
