Knight Frank has appointed James Hall of Christie’s Great Estates to its prestige residential business division.
Hall will joint Knight Frank as an associate director in the Sydney office.
Prior to his appointment, Hall was with Christie’s Great Estates, where he served with director Ken Jacobs for four years.
He had key involvement in the setting of a number of important residential price records.
Knight Frank’s national director of prestige residential business Shaun Tobin said the appointment is a big endorsement of the group’s capabilities to attract an agent of this calibre to the business, which is undergoing rapid growth in a highly competitive market.
“James is a strong fit with our existing team of high-end property specialists, and brings to us a strong knowledge of the Sydney market – especially the Lower North Shore and CBD apartments – and rural estates,” he added.
“This is an agency that offers true access to international markets through Knight Frank’s global offices, yet it has enviable knowledge of the local scene,” Hall said.
“Joining this team enables me to offer my clients, especially Australians returning from the UK and Asia, a much wider range of services, and I will be working with our offices in those regions to maximise opportunities,” he concluded.
