MFS Hotel Property Trust announced it has entered into a conditional agreement for the sale of the famous Burke and Wills Hotel located at 554 Ruthven Street in Toowoomba for $3.747 million.
The group also this week paid around $12 million for a four level historic piece of Melbourne’s CBD, the Louis Vuitton building on the corner of Collins & Russell Streets. It is expected the property will be syndicated.
The sale of the Burke and Wills Hotl is inline with the MFS Hotel Property Trust strategy to re-weight its portfolio of assets. The hotel sale will be finalised upon the approval of the Liquor Licensing Division to the transfer the Liquor License to the purchaser.
