Virus anyone or maybe a bit of electronic sabotage?
Since our launch on October 1st we have been overwhelmed with support from thousands of regular readers, the response thank you all has incredible.
We have even been featured in Crikey! our news is now being picked up by Media Monitors and we have become a regular in GoogleNews.
We have even been written about in the advertising bible Ad News… as they say why pay $2.20 a story elsewhere when you can get all the best in property news for no charge in propertyreview.com.au.
The result has been more subscribers, even more visitors, and even more kudos….
And, we are only just warming up!
However, with success has come the nasty side of running a successful online property newspaper…. being emailed bombed by with viruses.
Suddenly, however, the viruses have stopped, but only after we lost a decade of valuable records, stories and media archives.
In recent days, the perpetrator has come into the light…
Possible court action will follow; and yesterday the Federal Police weighed in with their support seeking a landmark case in Australia for electronic sabotage.
Watch this space for one of Australia’s most explosive property revelations in the coming weeks!

May the force be with you…
Stockland’s guiding force, Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director, John Pettigrew has announced his retirement from the corporate arena.
Pettigrew piloted Stockland’s re-structuring to meet market and taxation changes and was the originator of the joint quotation structure, linking Stockland’s development companies to its property trusts, to form what is now known as the ‘stapled security’.
Stockland will conduct an executive search for Pettigrew’s replacement and expects to make an announcement about his successor in early 2004.
What goes up…
The final countdown is on for the 200 fearless participants set to take part in this weekend’s Allendale Abseil in Perth.
This unique event will see participant’s abseil down the side of the Perth’s 135 metre Allendale Square. This is one of the longest single rope abseils available anywhere in the world and the only way people in Perth can abseil from this height.
To participate everyone had to raise over $750 in sponsorship, however, some people have raised over $5,000 each and these extraordinary fundraisers will be in a draw to win a trip for two to Sydney, thanks to Virgin Blue and Saville 2 Bond Street.
Everyone from corporate teams, individuals and school children will be taking part in the event, which is aiming to raise more than $150,000 for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
Major sponsors, Colliers International, Cape Bouvard and Adventure Out, have been overwhelmed by the support for the event, which is only in its second year.
PMH Foundation General Manager, Vern Reid, said it was only through the generosity of the community that allowed PMH to purchase specialised equipment and provide a high standard of care to the children of WA.
