Expressions of interest for two of Melbourne's rarest and most unusual parcels of land in Nelson Place, Williamstown close with Biggin & Scott at 5pm today.
The Holy Trinity Anglican Church Williamstown, through its project manager, Biggin & Scott, is inviting expressions of interest from reputable developers or other interested parties in the property at Nelson Place, bounded by Pasco Street, Nelson Place and Aitken Street.
The Church invites submissions from developers or other interested parties who are prepared to enter into a long term ground lease, say a 50 year term, for the development of the site to maximum its commercial potential.
The land Lot (a) containing the old vicarage on land of 2040 sqm and lot (b) containing a church hall and tennis courts on land of 2984 sqm make up a unique opportunity. The vicarage was built in 1886 and both buildings are regarded as historically significant buildings.
The land is currently zoned Williamstown Residential.
Biggin & Scott understand that the Hobsons Bay City Council does not support in principle a re-zoning and it should be noted that if such a re-zoning were sought, it would be the responsibility of the developer. The Church would give every assistance to the approved developer providing the proposed development met the end use guidelines of acceptable use as set out in this document.
Expressions of interest close at 5pm today Wednesday, November 12, at 5pm.
A preferred lessee will be nominated on Wednesday December 17.
